Wishing everyone a Happy and a Covid safe New Year
REASONS TO BE CHEERFUL On this beautiful sunny day, Thursday 31st of December typing this message I have a feeling that this is a good omen for the coming year for us all despite the current Covid19 situation and the more strict Tier 3 regulations we all have to endure. Also, only yesterday the fantastic news of the Oxford /AstraZeneca vaccine approval should mean a much quicker vaccination implementation for everyone and a speedy return to the club’s activities for us all.
Following closely on from the December Newsletter with my 2020 Annual Report and a summary of the Committee’s decisions on how to face up to the financial difficulties of the club due to last year’s cancellation of the Plant Sale and curtailment of activities due to Covid-19 this newsletter is mainly focusing on the collection of the 2021, £12 membership subscription so that we can be ready to launch our activities when safer times allow. Also, included below. is the Programme of our provisional activity dates that you can cut out for future reference. I do hope you will continue with your club membership and I look forward to starting our normal activities as soon as possible. David Badham.
