It’s the second season for the walk in netted structure for growing veg (Wonderwall) and we did say at Garden Club that we would let people know how it performed.
Well, the big advantage is that sowing and tending is easy and there is complete protection from the birds. We found the downside was that butterflies got in, but that may have been our fault and we have tightened security! Also the only snowfall of the winter caused a partial collapse but that was fairly straightforward to repair.
We will report how it goes this season, we are growing broad/French beans, leeks, onions, sprouts, courgettes etc.
